Beautiful home on deep protected water on the east end of the Island. Indian Bay is the first bay past the Dauphin Island Marina on the east side of the road. Bring your boat or boats!! There are 3 boat lifts and a wet slip that will accomodate up to a 35ft boat. The boat lifts range from 1000 lbs to 12K lbs or will hold your bay boat, wave runner, and your yacht! Extra large pilings used in construction. Windows are rated for 175mph winds. The entire house was insulated with foam - in the ceiling, floors and walls. There is a metal roof and a 4 inch concrete slab. The concrete driveway covers the front yard. The only yard to mow are the small patches on the water side of the home. All the appliances remain except ice maker in laundry room. There is instihot water at the kitchen sink and a garbage disposal. The Jenn air cooktop sits on the island in the kitchen. The furniture is negotiable. The fishing is great with underwater lights at the pier per seller.

Dauphin Island is a barrier island located three miles south of the mouth of Mobile Bay in the Gulf of Mexico. Entry to the island is made by crossing a 3 mile long high rise bridge which was opened in July, 1982. The island is approximately 14 miles long and 1 3/4 miles wide at the widest point. It is estimated that 1300 permanent residents call Dauphin Island home, and the number soars during vacation and holiday times.

Many attractions are located on the east end of the island including Fort Gaines, the Dauphin Island Sea Lab and Estuarium, Dauphin Island Camp Ground, Audubon Bird Sanctuary, the Ferry Service, and numerous boat launch sites. Our beautiful beaches of sugar white sand, public golf course, and parks are added attractions located on the west end of the island. Together they make Dauphin Island a wonderful laid-back resort destination.

Hotels, motels, condominiums, and private homes are available for rent to both summer and winter visitors. Delicious restaurants dot the commercial and tourist areas and offer fresh seafood harvested from the gulf waters as well as traditional menu items. Sun worshipers mix with anglers and sport fishermen on the beaches and in the waters surrounding the island.
